Ohhh! I see. I also saw somewhere that you can use bookcases rotated and placed in the below layer as stairs.

Instead of using a button, you could add a teleporter (invisible) at the bottom of the stairs.

Also, it seems like whoever’s living in this cottage is a master craftsman! They have both an inkwell, a hammer, AND chemical tubes on their work table!

Yep! Make your room outline with wall terrain, then walk into the wall so you’re pressed against it, and then fill in the space you can still see outside the outline with more wall terrain.
