Counters could be used as a FOR condition in programming e.g.

For x from 1 to 10 :
Do action
Next X (X+1)

Is this correct?

Well they reach a set number, do their action then they can repeat or do more counting, but basically, yes.

Yep! You do need a triggering action, counters can’t trigger themselves, but if you set target to 1 then it works!

Hear me out: they should add property-able counters. Instead of setting a constant as a target, you could set a property as one!

I meant as in what is the best prop because counters are undisputed king of devices.

Counters are one of my most used devices in my maps, and I agree with you, they’re really cool!

Oh, by the way, just remembered that counters, at least aside from delay, can replicate triggers in almost every way. The only edge triggers have over counters is the fact that they have blocks and the fact that they allow for delay.
