I made this little mechanism when a sentry is knocked out, it increase the counter by 1.
However, when the sentry is knocked out, it did not increase the counter by 1.
Heres the wires for the mechanism
Sentry channel
When sentry knocked out → increase counter by 1
Counter channel
When targer value reached → activate button.

the counters have a target right?
And are you sure the button isn’t activating?
Also, some images of the wire commands might help. Otherwise, I’m not sure what is causing the issue here.

Okay. I’m gonna be honest, I have no idea what the problem is. Assuming the correct sentry is being knocked out, the counter’s target value is 1, the counter is active when the sentry is knocked out, and no external channels are interfering, . . . probably do what the zapster said and remake everything from scratch. And if it STILL doesn’t work, it’s probably a bug on Gimkit’s part or an issue with your device/wifi.

if this is a bug, delete everything and make this again
that should work, and it’s not gonna take much time anyway
yuh in the image the button is green bc i forgot to set it to not activate on game start. I fixed it and it still didn’t work. here’s some images tho.

I think is most likely a bug since if I use a button to increase the counter of the sentry it works

why do we even need the counter?
can’t we just have the sentry activate it?
the 1 target is just a placeholder. so just using the sentry to activate stuff wont work

i just made it in my testing map, it worked perfectly
idk what if you left the counter target at 10?

Make a new system, it shouldn’t be too hard. Just delete and replace everything. If that doesn’t work then you might have to go to the wix and get someone on your map to fix it.

i cant really make a new system since this system is supposed to a randomizer.. and i dont want to do coding so.. i just figured out that the sentry has to be knocked out by a player to send signal. so thats good to know.
@MikeyJonn ik… sure, they helped but they didnt really come up with a “solution.” and i dont just wanna mark a random post.
Unfortunately, there is no way to detect when a sentry is knocked out by another sentry. This was determined in another post from a while ago. I’d link it if I could find it.
I don’t believe sentries can damage props either, so there really is no way to detect when a sentry hurts something.
