Capture the Flag platformer

I found a guide on how to make capture the flag platformer, but the images don’t load because of this.Can anyone help me to make capture the flag in Gimkit creative platformer mode

I have a small question, is this going to be made is platformer mode because the flag device is not in that mode.

so, you’ll need a flag and a capture zone for the flag, and that’s pretty much it. Just copy how you would do it in a top down mode capture the flag, and it should work.

oh. I did not know that. So, in that case, NO, you can NOT do capture the flag in platformer :frowning:

I’m sorry for the inability to do so, hopefully this gets changed in the future.

There has to be a way. You can probably use something as a substitute for the flag, such as an item. However the player wouldn’t be shown with it. Waypoints still work in Platformer, no?

We can use the checker device to monitor what player has the item, if it detects the item it can activate a waypoint on that player.
But how would they capture the item? A zone connected to a vending machine?

That would work but I want it to have an item showing that they have the flag not a waypoint.

If you desperately need an item showing, then I just don’t think it’s possible.

I don’t really need an item but I’m trying to make a Gimkit for my class and it would be confusing for them.

By showing item do you mean for other players to see the item on you, kind of like when you have the flag behind you in the gamemode?

I think both because it is much more visible.

You could use the :black_flag: emoji and :white_flag: emoji on a waypoint.
It will kind of look like there holding the flag.

Well if the waypoint is on the player the flag emoji will appear under them.
