You could use barriers
Like blocks you can look through? Use barriers with a slightly low alpha.

Put barriers over tiles and as @EggNoodle said, make them have a low alpha and activate them whenever you want using a wire repeater or trigger

What do you mean by low alpha
Alpha means the transparency of something. 0 alpha is invisble and 1 alpha is completely visible.
Ohhhb thank you. I’m confused though. If I change the alpha of the barrier it will only make the barrier invisible though and not the tile right?
