So I am making a bossfight, but whenever my zone activates, the player doesn’t get eliminated. I did some searching, and came across this this

I found that in Part 1, Step 3, it said “(due to the fact that the zones don’t trigger if they activate when a player is in them)” But one of my zones work while the other doesn’t. I already checked the channels and they are correct. Could somebody please help?
Okay, wait. What exactly are you trying to do? Damage the player when they step into a zone?
Wonderful. An open ended request for help with some confusing context. I believe that you are standing in one zone that doesn’t activate [1] when you activate because you’re already in it. Therefore that zone won’t affect the player. I didn’t really understand your question so please elaborate if my solution is wrong. If not please mark this post as a solution:). It looks like you kinda gave yourself the full context and solution but didn’t add 2+2 together.[2] If this is not what you meant please say. @Hdangerzones yes and the solution is that only 1 activates because zones activated while a player is standing in them do not register the player standing in them assuming that they are standing in 2 zones in this configuration, while standing in the left one, the left one won’t knockout the player, while the right one will when entered.
I belive that this means that when the player steps into the zone, they get knocked out? Therefore being “eliminated” from the game.
I don’t know how to answer this question if this is what you’re asking, so can you send screenshots? Maybe there’s a glitch/setup mistake you’re not seeing, therefore not making the player get eliminated.

the left one doesn’t work when I am standing in it, but the right one does. They activate at different times. So it is that I am standing in the zone when it activates. But one of them works for some reason, which is strange.

So, when you walk into the first zone it has not been activated yet. It only activates just after you enter it. Due to the way Gimkit lags, the zone doesn’t work when it activates as you are already standing in it. This would be the same if you stand in the other one first as well. When you leave the first one and enter the second, the second one works because you weren’t standing in it when it is activated. The solution is, use the zones to sense when you enter the knockout area and when you leave. To make it only work at a certain point in the game so you can leave the area use a wire repeater for an amount of time that triggers when you enter the full area that encompasses zones 1+2. This can be done by putting a zone around them both. Then, after the time has run out you can vacate the area and move on. If they walk into one of the zones within the time frame of entering the potential knockout area set a 2 second wire repeater which leads to a damaged that knocks out the player and a 1 second wire repeater that also goes from the zone to the system that does the animation. Repeat this for the other side. Therefore, the game detects when you enter that zone at a certain time, plays the animation and then knocks you out. This resets you to the last checkpoint.
Please use this system. Maybe try resetting and deleting the zone that is glitchy a few times and rechecking the channels before hand but if that is still broken try this. I worked this out from memory but it should work. @Here_to_help are you just watching or what?
