Haha. Just stare at it for 10 long moments and you’ll understand.

Maybe you should just follow this guide:

Should the creator mark a solution?

I think they intend to mark one of Epi’s posts since they pinged them in the original post.
They’re probably busy.
But since there’s a solution already, we can just stop replying.

My name is Gimkit101.

Yea, I was/am busy.

I’ll test out the code once I get a chance, just to be 110% sure it works, but yea, I’m gonna give @Epi320 the solution since they (she??) helped me the most.

Thanks for the help everyone! Hopefully it’ll work fine once I get a chance to test it.

Also, @Turtle, I read your bio (great job btw), and I have to say, you seem great at art. Do you allow people to ping you for art requests? Bc I’m gonna need a cool thumbnail for my next game soon. :)

Also, even tho BH is gone, Gimkitters aren’t outta sources of news. For the last year, I’ve run a digital blog (news source thingy) on Gimkit, well-known to many famous people like MathThrive, and that’s going well. Though I like your idea to make a Gimkit Post (I think that was the name, lol).

Hey @Gimkit101,

For @Gimkit101

I would be happy to make your thumbnail, just ping me when you need it! Also, as far as the whole news thing, I’m aware that there are other news stations, I just wanted to create my own and let everyone submit things to let users share their art, thoughts, and writing on GKC. Good job with your own newspaper, it sounds awesome!
Also, I just meant that BH ran a popular YT channel that was a big source of news. That’s all.

u don’t have to
Mark the most helpful post! don’t choose me because u meant to ask me! I would feel guilty.

u suspect me as a she?

I’m testing it now. Let’s see if it works. lol

Taco

Yeah, I’m aware of that. I think it’s a good idea, I just wanted to let you know that you’re not alone in wanting to share Gimkit info to Gimkitters everywhere.

It’s not bc I asked you first, it’s because you were the most helpful (and you put up with my blatant confusion for the first several dozen posts, lol).

Yea, idk why. Was I right or wrong? lol  There was a 50% (or rather 20% chance) I’d be right.

Thank you, @wingwave!! :star_struck: I’d love to be able to get this fixed so then I can start working on the slope jumps rest of the game (no spoilers for you, lol).

it seems your using a variable instead of a property trying create a minute?

how would that update your time

Am I correct?

Oh, I thought it would still work if I changed it to a variable. Lemme try it now with a property. It seems @Epi320’s solution might’ve worked the whole time after all.

Okay, this should work. Moment of truth.

NVM, changing the variable to a property still doesn’t fix it.

There’s got to be a way…
I think I’ve said this like a billion times but have you tried just starting over? You may have missed something really small with the actual timekeeping devices…

Yeah, I wish that would work, but I didn’t know what I was doing when I started off, apparently. I’m decent at block code, but messing with all these variables is driving me insane. Maybe I should try reaching out to Gimkitters who’ve put timers in their games already. ;)

shoot i know i made this in a map that i deleted a few days ago and now i cant remember it…

Wait!! I just remembered a Gimkit game I played with a timer in it: Stache’s Slope Jumps. @NotYoyo, do you remember how the timer was made for that??

Well, did you follow a guide or did you make the timer from scratch? If you followed a guide, you might be able to see where you went wrong…
I guess I’m asking if you’re sure it’s the block code that’s the problem?
