So I’m currently working on my game, and in one level, there is a level containing lasers, button (just one), and barriers as platforms.
When I playtest (and some times when I’m editing), the barriers flicker.
It looks like this, the areas where an arrow is at, or that is circled, is something that flickered. In the layers, this transparent barrier that is dark is on the above layer above every prop, laser, barrier, character and everything in the level.
However, there is a cave that has the same barrier as the one shown in the picture above. Nothing bad happens there, no barriers flickering, only in the area where the photo was taken.
So just to make sure, you set the barrier visibility to invisible in settings, but it occasionally turns visible, making it flicker, right?
If so you can try setting transparency to 0.00, so even it turns visible it wont show anything
What i was suggesting was turning the alpha transparency to 0.00, thereby making it unseeable even if visibility was set to visible, since it sounded like the showing barriers were what your barriers would have looked like if it was not set to invisible
Are you connected to the same internet on all the devices?
Does this happen on other accounts?
Try to use a different barrier as a background?
Wait… When you move items in building mode it sometimes goes out of its layer and if you want it to be in a specific place you have to relayer it
Based on my personal experience, this issue appears to be a glitch that occurs when excessive memory is used within a specific area, it’s pretty annoying. I’ve encountered this glitch multiple times when building large structures that involves overabundant amount of layering, I recommend reducing any unnecessary details, mechanics, or decorations in that region, hopefully it could resolve the problem.
Same here.
It often happens if multiple items are layered at a single point,
and moving around often makes the layers go out of whack (excepsially if u have that dynamic layering thing)
REsolving this prblem is like yoyo said, remove some stuff.
’
also, dont use dynamic layering.
