I’m making a game called Pillars. It’s where you go through 8 layers of an abandoned Eden-ish planet named Icarus, because why not[1], and the first 7 layers each have a hidden pillar, holding an item of Trait. The seven items of Trait hold the traits taken from Undertale. Check the screenshots if you’ve been living under a rock.
I need ideas for:
What the seven items of Trait are
What the individual layers of Icarus are
Buffs or abilities (Emphasis on the OR) given when you have that Trait
Mind, you have to choose one layer, and here’s the format: Layer Name (Optional) Layer's Trait Item of Trait Buffs or abilities included in Trait
7 people will be chosen for the 7 layers.
Deadline is in 3 days!
References for under-the-rock estaters:
Inspired by Dante’s Inferno, where it describes 9 circles of Hell. ↩︎
How I imagined this would be like what an onion is: layered. Once you peel one off, there’s another, until you get to the actual onion (Or prize/boss fight in this case)
Like there’s the 8th layer, a sphere, and it’s wrapped by the other layers. It’s like Earth’s crust but repeated.
I’ll take the Determination :D.
dont got name idea
Trait: Determination
Item: Real Blaster. (legendary evil eye)
Abilities:
Passive: But it refused
You get a single revive. When you revive, you are buffed, but your hp is going down constantly (like 2.5% per second), once it hits 0, you are ko’ed. The buffs are 2x speed and like 3x dmg btw.
Active: ITEM
Overlay - CD: 30 Sec
You regen an amount of HP. The amount of HP is between 10 and 99.
Will grant everyone a small damage and health boost for 15 seconds. Each time an enemy is knocked out, the boost will increase (Not exponentially, please)
(Active) Heart of the Lion
Overlay that grants 1.5x speed, 2x damage for 5 seconds. The time will reset back to 5 every time the player knocks out an enemy. After 30 seconds, the ability will end.
Ability will also end if the player fails to give a knockout, and the cool down will be bigger
Totally didn’t use yoyo’s format
I’ll think of a better name. It also kinda sounds communist lol ↩︎
trait: perseverance item of trait: epic slingshot [1]
abilities:
(passive) juggernaut
gain a passive regen only when firing your gadget, but every time you attack, it slows you down by 0.1, and every second you don’t attack, stop the regen and recover the player’s speed, since… it’s kinda perserver-ey… idk.
(active) from the grave
the player has a meter that increases each time they’re knocked out. when it reaches three, then the player upgrades their gadget by one grade.
this works since the player will usually be the first to be knocked out with the tank build, and respawning will have more drawbacks for them,
to discourage purposely respawning.
Totally didn’t use yoyo’s format
nooooo p.m.l. almighty was taken-slingshot wasn’t… right? ↩︎

I gave the AI a ton of personality lol
It even has grammar errors lol [1]
