I don’t really care about memory, because I just want to make a guide about it…
yes, whatever you can do!
K, let me see if I can do something, what is your current setup?
What I had above? Earlier…
I want to make the sun be visible all the time, but different barrier (black moons) move, but then disappear, because each stage appears then disappears.
Visual:
(not really…)
Over to the left is one stage, and there are five other stages…
The sun is going to be there all of the time, but the moons are going to appear and disappear…
I made one that is not completely finished, this is where it ends.
Not a partial eclipse, a total one. Here are the stages.
I’m trying to animate this…
if it’s total then there shouldn’t be any sun on the edges.
A total eclipse doesn’t cover the sun entirely, there’s a ring of fire.
It does get dark though. The sun is significantly larger than the moon, so it’s not scientifically possible for it to cover the sun absolutely…
Yeah but the moon is so much closer than the sun.
That’s what it looks like…
The sun is still showing…
I know.
Wow, cool stuff!
Celebrating the eclipse by making I guide off of it, why didn’t I think about that?
Since I’m .6% away from a total eclipse where I am right now, this is awesome. Also, wire repeaters work just as well as triggers for your picture (Unless you’re using channels)
Epic!
This will look awesome.
Personally in NC I only get 71% but I’m super excited!
Using channels. Hm.
Highly considers that....
to animate anything requires triggers and channels, nothing else. So barrier animation, prop animation, or text animation, it all is the same.
That’s a cool idea (making a Solar Eclipse guide to celebrate it), @California_Love!
I can’t wait to see it!
BTW, don’t look at the Eclipse without special NASA glasses.
Yup, I know. I’m still waiting on some replies.
In the meantime, I’m looking at How to Make Animation | Difficulty: guide…
Also, congratulations on getting —tl3-- Regular, @Gimkit101!
Sorry, my internet is terrible, be can you just make all the barriers inactivated at start exept the first step of the eclipse, then put wire repeater under them, for the first one wire it the the barrier and wire the button to it. (Just follow the guide on that one) Sorry I have to go.
I’m 91%, super excited too! I might not be able to post my guide today tho.
Ok. What you could do is make a triggerloop. After that, have one of the triggers broadcast on channel Get Property X, then add one to get property X. Then have the first moon activate on n, and deactivate on n+1. Add one to both channels for moon 2, 2 for moon 3, and so on.
