If we can connect with each other I would love to learn about Javascript or anything really needed to be a technical creator in your opinion I am mainly focusing on LUA or LUAU so I can make a Roblox game but Javascript is a second so I can make Google Extensions and Discord bots

Hexaheximal’s Discord user is quite literally “ hexaheximal” lol. The best way you can find him on Discord is in TGTC (The Gimkit Technical Club).

Anyway, hm… I feel like the way to actually create a sort of LLM (I assume that’s the goal here with “AI” as we already have AI with sentries and such) would be making a list of prompts provided by the player and have the player respond to their own prompts. Through this, a code system could analyze patterns in letters or text or responses and start acting accordingly.

It’s a tad complicated and out there but it’s definitely an idea.

Hello! I thought I’d give my two cents here. Most of you don’t know me but I used to be a TL3 here and I’m now mostly active in TGTC, the discord server that was mentioned earlier.

A few things:

  1. If you would like to integrate actual LLMs (which is the proper term for what you’re talking about, by the way) into creative itself I would suggest not wasting your time because you will run into memory limits long before you get that far.

  2. If you would like to integrate an already existing LLM into Gimkit with mods, then that is certainly possible with tools like Gimloader. However, I would suggest against that for numerous reasons. LLMs (for example ChatGPT, Grok, Google Gemini, etc) harm the environment, harm small website owners, are unethical, and don’t respect copyright. That being said, I’m not going to gatekeep how to mod from you if that is what you would like to do. Most people nowadays use Gimloader to create and load mods for Gimkit, and you can find that here. The Gimloader documentation can also be found here.

but to add on, what if we were to ask the creators of Gimkit for supposed legal permission or so to just simply play around with the code with their permission
As we are not planning it as a full on custom feature but simply a fun project to do since I am bored of GIMKIT a little and have been specifically been getting into Integration a lot

You don’t need “legal permission”. Modding has been a thing for years at this point and Team Gimkit hasn’t done anything against it in the slightest. In addition, @hexaheximal asked Team Gimkit when he made the first modloader if it was allowed, and they said it was. In any case, you wouldn’t need explicit permission in the first place.

Do whatever you want, but it’s really pointless as hundreds of mods have been created at this point as well as the fact that there’s an entire 200 member discord server for Gimkit modding AND @hexaheximal already got permission years ago (see here).

But again I reiterate, I would strongly recommend against using LLMs because of all of the ethical issues with them.
