because it goes against the rules of the forum
also because it would cause a lot of clutter
and probably start flame wars about which is better
and also if people who have a lot of respect on the forum advertise something, it’s probably going to get a lot of votes just because it’s by that person
(just some guesses)
all in all, advertising would = chaos

It was at most semi-relevant to the conversation (posting an image of the description to show it did in fact contain keywords), but yes, that’s a rule violation I think. I’ll delete it.
