Wiki Catalog for Types of Platforming Jumps

Well…
I mean, then you couldn’t solo run a platformer, and unless by accident, you wouldn’t get there because nobody would hit you; they’re trying to make the jump without letting you make the jump.

Sentries can deal fragility though, so it would still work solo.

Idk how accurate it would be though.

youknow this:

in DLD, would it be considered da jump, and more importantly, what jump would tibe? Would it be a slope jump or a new jump?

The top or bottom part?

likethis jump in general

The top would not be a slope jump due to it being like a ladder.

The bottom however, thats a slope jump cause it slides you down and you can slope jump up.

I think I answered your question and congrats on regular.

but it’s intentis not to be\a slope jump, but be some sort of slide.

Well then now that i think of it, you jump off of the slide. Meaning that it’s technically a jump.

can you fix that @Y0ur_L0cal_Weird0? I dont understand.

so would it be its own jump, or a hybrid of other jumps?

Probably its own jump.

To clarify, that jump is not a slope jump, since you are not supposed to slope jump up. That is not its intended purpose. You are supposed to jump off of it. I guess it could be its own jump, but it is not a slope jump.
Also, the forums as a whole have already decided that “wedge jumps” should be called ladder jumps. Normal head-hitters are just that.
Small thing, ladder jumps don’t have to be made with terrain. It can be anything, as long as the gap is within a certain size. The reason why they work is that the hitbox of a gim is actually a skinny oval.

ok so ill add this to the guide.

Oops, never knew that they were called ladder jumps. That makes sense though.

Yeah, not a slope jump. Reverse extended head hitter seems right though.

Actually, can someone try to implement this into the guide?
