If I asked you what device allowed you to do the most damage in GKC, chances are if you’ve been here long enough, you’d say Quantum Portal Miniguns, right? (I mean, you could use a laser beam, but that’s not a gadget like a Zapper or a P.M.L.) You’re not wrong, but what happens if you have one on its own? Well, I have found a better alternative, introducing the Twister!
Now, before you comment below this post “AcTuAlLy, ThE qUaNtUm PoRtAl LaUnChEr Is BeTtEr BeCaUsE iT dOeS mOrE dAmAgE aT tHe LeGeNdArY lEvEl.” (I’m kidding, I know most of you don’t sound like that.) And even if you do still say it, unfortunately, you’re wrong.
You see, while you are correct, the Legendary Quantum Portal Launcher does do more damage than the Twister, it lacks in one aspect that the Twister dominates in: Capacity. You see, the Legendary Quantum Portal Launcher does around 232 damage in one shot. So it has high damage, but a low capacity, meaning if you miss your shot, you have to hide and wait three seconds to get one more shot. The Twister is the opposite, having medium damage and a high capacity. Now, even though it does 153 dmg per shot, there are three shots in the gadget before you have to reload. Meaning, that if you hit all three shots, you can do a whopping 459 dmg before reloading.
Versatility
Now, some of you might have read that and said, “Alright, bUt WhAt If YoU mIsS a ShOt? ThEn WhAt?” With the Twister, sure, you missed a shot, so you can’t do 459 damage to a source. BUT you still have two shots left meaning you can still do 306 damage if you hit the rest of the two shots. Another thing is versatility. I touched on this briefly for the Quantum Portal Launcher, and how if you miss one shot, that’s it and you have to reload. The Twister, on the other hand, gives you the flexibility to miss one shot, and still have the power to two-tap an opponent, given the situation. (To clarify, an average opponent is going to have 100 health and 100 shields, in total having 200 hit points. Now, I know you can go higher, but the average setting is 100 of both.)
Damage Boosts
Well, what about damage boosts? There’s simply no context. If you do a 10x damage boost, which is the highest you can go, the Twister wins if you empty the magazine on it. If we do the math, the Quantum Portal Launcher only does 2,320 damage in a single shot, whereas the Twister can do 4,590 in three shots, as well as counting the fact that even if you miss the first shot with the Twister, you still can blast out an impressive 3,090 damage with the remaining two shots. In one-shot potential, the Quantum Portal wins. But for total damage, the Quantum Portal Launcher is a far cry from the Twister.
Miniguns
Finally, I will address the people who have been looking to pick apart this post, and say “WhAt AbOuT MiNiGuNs? ThAt MaKeS QuAnTuM pOrTaLs BeTtEr!” And you would be right. However, I am also not comparing Twister Miniguns to Quantum Portal miniguns, although statistically, they would be better, due to the Twisters being able to have 6 projectiles a second compared to two. I am instead comparing two objects in their singularity. Meaning I am comparing both gadgets side-by-side, seeing which one has an advantage over the other in situations.
To conclude, the Twister is better than the Quantum Portal Launcher, such as in total damage and versatility, even though Quantum Portal Launcher Miniguns are still better than a solo Twister. However, a solo Twister wins over the Quantum Portal Launcher every time, making it your new option to do the most damage in GKC.
