I was going on forum and asking about the wire repeater. Then, someone sent me a link? (appropriate, only taking me to another post) and the post was about how wire repeaters are better than repeaters. One key reason was the memory. So what is memory and why is it important?
Memory is something that stops the game from lagging and is your limit to using resources in Gimkit. You get 100,000 memory to use, so people like to use less memory to save space for more things like details and such. 1% of memory is 1000 memory.
What if I use more? Will the game work? Will the game lag if I use too much?
You cannot build anything anymore, that’s what will happen. Common sense reasons for a game creator to use memory bars to keep the game itself from lagging, ahem allow me to explain; the proper knowledge is to accept that once you reach the maximum capacity of a memory bar it can start lagging decreasing the amount of players, playing your game (Because some are impatient). And can make it to where you cannot place anything down anymore.
Hope that helped…
Me proud of sounding cool and fancy:
Will it help if I wrote the game will take time to load and lag in the description of the map? (for decreasing the amount of players)
Sure that could work, you could also make it kinda cool sounding to get attention like “This will be a little laggy and long to load… but trust me it’s worth it!”
also I wanted to add if you try to get less memory you can actually kind of get a bit better and gkc and also how less memory is just almost always better
