Before you ask, did you look in other topics to find your answer? I did, but couldn’t find one with proper images
Can you explain what a perpendicular shuffle is/what it’s function is?
see I have the same question as you ![]()
its basically a longer version of the laser jump
This might help
Essentially that???
I checked that but I need to know how to make it and how it looks
Uhh, try putting the URL of the platforming jumps TUG into the wayback machine, see if you can find a stored version with images that saved on the wayback machine before the image purge
Maybe that’s what you’re looking for! Try the wayback machine method to try to find it first.
I never herd of the wayback machine ever in my life
Uhh, it’s on archive.org
Copy paste https://forum.creative.gimkit.com/t/wiki-catalog-for-types-of-platforming-jumps/72410 into the wayback machine check
i could’nt find it. Also I found that jump in yhmft, so maybe Blackhole927 will know about it
Uhh, about that…
Blackhole isn’t really active anymore.
okay, I am clueless
That is just slope jump head hitters.
About the perpendicular shuffle, it was a special laser jump in someone’s game that they gave their own name to, calling it the “perpendicular shuffle.” The idea was that you had to jump over lasers from a platform, but needed speed because the laser area was wide, so you would walk away and jump first to gain speed before moving the other way and going over the laser.
Looks something like this
Can you tell me how to do them so I can add it properly to my map
Well for a normal headhitter jump you jump outwards off the platform and then back in to land on a higher platform. Just do it but a slope jump.
Also for anyone who wants to ask a question about platforming, ping me. I’m the most knowledgeable forum user on this topic, and I’m tired of all the misinformation. None of the answers on the “what is the hardest jump” topic were right. Big slop jump is not happy. Ok rant over
