I want to get promission for a forum related guide, ment to help new users specifiacally, and help them understand how the forums work and what to do when making posts. how would I go about this?
Hmmm…hard question, but I’m sure that everyone is thankful that you made a topic about this before you asked permission on a topic (That would have wasted time)
But if you have read the guidelines, you may make a guide, which will still be good!
The only problem (Please don’t say I’m being rude 
) is the whole point of gimkit is to ask questions in there own topic, not commenting on questions all at once in a guide. Does that make any sense?

Just message the mods! They can help you out, and if they think the forums guide is a good idea then they’ll let you make the guide.

No, he wants to know if he’s allowed to make the guide. That would mean asking the mods.

You are not supposed to make forum guides anymore, I think. Also, Help questions are supposed to be GKC related. So this is a little off-topic, but now that Fleet knows, they can message the mods themselves to find out if they can make it.
you can make fourm guides, you just need promission.
also 2468 is on break, and Unstable is infact, not a moderator (technacally) they are just a TL4, not part of the moderator group. so I cant really PM them.

But I for one would love a new user guide, because there’s a lot that isn’t covered in the guidelines and I think it’s be really helpful.

That was likely an old guide- it was made before that “whole genre” got shut down, I think.
It was made by bh so I highly doubt it
I’m unfortunately also like very incompetent so generally don’t ever ask me to do things for the forums
