Ways to improve my thumbnail?

I’m making a new game (and my first game) that is like Brawl Stars heist. I drew up a thumbnail of it using kleki.com.

Any suggestions on how to make it better?

That’s… good. Make the purple-ish gim more angry, add more clouds, and add a watermark.

that’s really good maybe add some shadows or more details depending on your style but you totally don’t have to

Add credit for who made the game and who made the thumbnail
make the sand more gimkit like (Add whiter swirly lines)

(it’s dry grass). I should probably add some darker lines for it then

I think this is really awesome! Maybe thicken the lines just a little bit, but not much. Perhaps add shading to the corn box and hat but overall your shading is more consistent (based on where the light is coming from) than mine for sure! How do you draw a thumbnail of this quality?

Ooo looks really good!

-Refer to this reply:

-I personally don’t think the font of the text fits with the artstyle. The lineart weight is fine in my opinion, but it just doesn’t look cohesive with the title.

-I suggest making the white gim’s back foot more coherent. Draw lines for where the bottom of the foot is. Refer to this image for instance:

-You might not want to add lineart on the grass terrain, but that’s probably more of a personal preference.

-Add shading on the background and hat to make it more cohesive.

-I really like how you did the water! Though, you might want to alter the hue a bit so it is closer to that of the sky.

-Add more props. The corn prop looks a bit jarring since it’s the only one there.

-The action in this scene is quite dynamic. I like it!

Overall, you did a pretty good job!

you can make the gim closest to your perspective larger & the lineart a tiny bit thicker. I think adding expressions to their face would help the drawing too, along with some different shading depending on how you want the thumbnail to look.

That looks amazing!! Maybe make the maroon gim kind of angry. And maybe add shadows underneath the gims. And also don’t forget to put the name of the person who made the game and the one who made the thumbnail! And the clouds look a bit wonky but overall the thumbnail looks great!

thanks for the feedback. I’ll fix it soon.

ideas of other props I could add? The props I use in my game are corn boxes, fences, boxes, barrels, and corn stocks.

I think it looks a little off with the wooden want being on the left side of the gim. It looks like it’s kinda back in their stance, not forward. I feel like it would be better to have the gim layered over the wand, but the wand looks really good and I don’t want my decision to be wrong an you have to redo it… so just trust your gut.
I think a barrel in the background would look nice, maybe a faded coral in the water too.
