Hello, So I was just trying to build this (This happened before) and I was just putting down signs for a floor on a platformer game :
Seems pretty normal right? Well as soon as I turned it to Survival, The majority of the boards just went behind the grass! And, I even moved the boards to the above layer before.

Normally refreshing, re-hosting, clear cache, deleting the re-adding
will solve this problem.
If not, it can either be:
Not a glitch, as in it is a feature that gimkit enforces (which is not the case here)
Or a server-side error, so as in a glitch in gimkits code
If the latter, email
hello@gimkit.com
and wait

The Center Rule states that devices that the player can directly interact with (zones, flag zones, lasers, etc) and props only properly work if the center of the device is within the border. Violating this rule causes devices and props to be unable to interact with channels and wires, as well as props being immune to damage. Furthermore, the devices/props will be forcefully displaced by the map to be fully within the border if you reload the map.
I also wonder if this has anything to do with the bug?
I worked on the border problem for a while, and if this is it, just raise the boards so that the middle of it is poking out of the terrain.
(if this solves the issue, please ping me, as this may be new news to the border topic.)

I think they already did that

Yeah, looking at their picture, it’s probably the center rule.

Maybe its because the sign is below default terrain…
maybe delete the signs that go behind the grass and use the one that’s over the grass and just copy it will have the same settings as the original

We already know that its because of the center rule, and the sign isn’t anyways

Put all of them in the front layer, if not either email gimkit or refresh close out, if that doesn’t work reset your whole device.
