Turn-Based RPG Ideas

So in addition to my Undertale Wiki I almost made Undertale in Gimkit. But, then I decided that I had attempted enough game recreations and wanted to make a turn-based RPG of my own. I need a lot of ideas for various things so any help would be appreciated!

  • Lore

    • So far the only lore I have is that you will be world hopping through space mini-planets

    • Please don’t write me 20 paragraphs of lore, just suggestions are fine.

  • Neat Secrets

    • As opposed to lore, this will just like Easter eggs. For example in Undertale in random places you can find something that says “There is a camera hidden under this bridge”, hinting at alphys watching you.

  • Locations

    • I have 4 of 7 worlds already made but I need ideas for the other 3.

  • Spells

    • Idea inspired by @blackfox45666
    • Spells can do damage or increase/decrease other stats
Stat Example Value How it Interacts Example
HP (Hit Points) 60 A numerical value that will decide when the player dies Health <= 0 → Die
ATK (Attack) 10 A numerical value that dictates the amount of damage a player can do at one time. Enemy HP - ATK = New Enemy HP
SPD (Speed) 7/10 A fractional value that dictates how often the player attacks 7/10, every 7 seconds
DF (Defense) 20% A percentile value that dictates how much damage the player blocks Deals 50 damage, blocks 20%, takes 40 Damage
INT (Intelligence) Low A string value that dictates the players intelligence; Can be Low, Medium, or High. In order to find the ball you need Medium Intelligence.
STR (Strength) Medium A string value that dictates the players strength; Can be Low, Medium, or High. In order to lift the rock you need High Strength
DEX (Dexterity) High A string value that dictates the players physical agility; Can be Low, Medium, or High. In you to jump the gap you need Medium Dexterity.

A secret could be a secret teleporter that takes you to an old ship, in which you can see the remains of the Earth…?

Secret ideas!
1: a watermelon. It is actually a trade for a very good item
2: (say it with me!) secret bread. all maps need secret bread.
3: three gims known as “the three elders” who give you tips
4: ELLLLLL PRIMOOOOOO(aka a secret libre gim.)
If you use number two can you put a message like Dark_Hydra was here

A computer that says “Error” all the time, but it has a 1 in 100 chance to show the message, “It should have been me-” I little extra random lore.

HAHA!!!
i always wanted to make one of these turn based rpgs in gkc
just never had the motivation (im a lazy person)
ive made plenty of these kinds of mechanics including debuffs and buffs
i might make a stat and gear system if i have time
but ooo! maybe something similar to lightcones in hsr would be interesting :0
but thats just thinking gear wise
hmmmmmmmmmm
levels, xp, max level breakthroughs would be totally different
there would have to be multipliers for ability dmg to actually make it interesting
and maybe skill level ups! i have so many ideas!!! :3

Dracon, Tiefling, Dark elf, Galactic Beings, Skeleton Thiefs, Shapeshifting creatures, Lost souls, People who did the same thing as you and got stuck and need help, Evil opposites of you

Okay, monsters? How about… “sands”(likes mustard) and “parchment”(bad at cooking pizza) :wink: also, goblins, thug trolls, and an floating unidentified being with the power to move between dimensions but is very unstable named “Bob”.

Thanks for my ideas but I would rather make my own game than Undertale knock-off stuff.
@here Please no more monster ideas, I already have all the monsters I need, I just need ideas for the stuff I listed.
