its very difficult to match the color, sadly. You should layer the water flow barrier on top of the waterfall

The transition at the bottom looks out of character and weird – i suggest changing it to make it flow.

I’d suggest using the Custom shape device and making a more dynamic shape
Here is what I’m attempting to do. I’m going to see if I can make the stream by just using barriers. I’ll use this strategy displayed in the gif to animate certain portions of the water to make it appear that there is motion at varying speeds depending on where in the stream the water is.

You could use teleporters and make them go back and forth every second, because I do love that animation
