Troll Platformer Ideas

Put in little “zones” that are blocked by barriers and you must answer a hard question to continue

I feel like using examples from the GD level called “Trolled” would be good…


…nothing makes me rage more than glitching.
Add a zone that teleports you back a few feet, and you have to backtrack to the last long jump and don’t jump at all to pass it.

I have another idea have a bunch of neos but make a lag machine right next to it so that I makes it super annoying and wont register that you landed on the prop

Add a timer that is triggered if the player moves and just makes them sit in a box while they wait for their fate

fill a box with a bunch of sentry’s on different teams with a fast blasting gadget trust me I makes the game lag a TON (I would show a video example but forums removed videos)

I’ve actually made a game exactly like this. It was a troll map that I made to troll my friends. I made the entire platformer game, and then at the end where the game SHOULD end and you SHOULD win, I made THIS manifesto.


Basically, when you enter the quote-unquote “YOU WIN ZONE” it starts a trigger loop that teleports you between two rooms every second, with discouraging words in each room. My friends have refused to jo1n any of my maps ever since, so I think it was a pretty sweet troll. :imp:

You don’t have to listen to me, but whenever (most of the time) a game has this, it feels like a trap just to get plays, and is very frustrating.

how bout pressing a randomized item button to try and get a specific item to move on to the next platform with 0 speed and then at the last platform (of 20) setting the item needed to get to next one not in the randomizer to make them think it’s just rare
but in reality when you press the button 15-20 times at the last platform you get teleported back to the start and start again and then trolling them by making them do a seemingly impossible jump and rage while all they had to do was go backwards and open a barrier with a high placed button so they don’t find it instantly and find an invisible vendor (with one of the randomized items left from the previous mention) teleporting you to the next jump

Oh my GOSH. That sounds absolutely BRUTAL! We really need to use these ideas and make like “THE ULTIMATE TROLL MAP.” (I still think mine was pretty mean but STILL. YOURS IS INSANE)

You would need Gems from “paying to win” (not really). Does that work together with your idea?

could be adapted so that every minute you get a pull so it’s even more annoying and time consuming but yeah good idea lol

Please do not make the game impossible to beat. Being forced to use glitches that people may not know how to do is not fun nor would make people want to play again.
