Ticking noises for a Quick Time Event :3

So, I’m making this quick-time defuse the bomb moment in my game, but is there a way I could make the actual sound of ticking? This is a dumb question and I’m writing this in the middle of the night (it’s 12:07 for me) and my brain isn’t runnin’, it’s walkin’.

any help would be sick, thanks!

I’ve done this before @Blackjack, here it is, hope it helps!

  1. Create or Find the Sound: You’ll need an audio file containing the ticking sound. You can create it yourself, find a free sound effect online, or use a sound effect library..

  2. you gotta prepare the Audio File: Make sure your audio file is in a format that Gimkit supports (usually MP3, WAV, or OGG).

  3. Add the sound to kit: go to your Gimkit kit in your dashboard. Look for the media options within the kit editor (usually in the question or answer sections). Upload your audio file. Set the audio to play when you want the ticking sound to be heard (liike., during a specific question or as part of a game mechanic).

I think you could place a button on top of the b0mb, and connect a repe@ter to repetitively press the button to achieve the ticking noise.

wait, i will try that method, what you think the best delay will be?

The best would be 1 second intervals, so that it ticks down every second. I might try to make it in my free time later.

There can’t be music like this in GKC anyway. You can’t download music to GKC.

Wait, I just attempted to create my button press ticking, but turns out, there isn’t a wire input to press the button. Sorry :person_shrugging:. Guess I’ll have to find so other way. (Hey, does a trigger make any noise?)

I think i know how:

Get two triggers, make a third one and a forth one separate (3 and 4 activate and deactivate the ticking)
3 starts ( or gets a signal) and it turns on 1 for 1 second and after that one second, it turns on 2 for 1 second and goes back to trigger 1 and infinitely until you decide when the quick time moment ends (or when did it before oofing).Thats where trigger 4 comes in, it gets a signal of a channel and tells it to end the ticking

Are you using a trigger loop? I feel like it’s easier with a repeater.

No

repeaters take more memory.
