The "Teleporting Glitch"

This bug isn’t related to teleporters, but when I move in Creative Mode or anything in general, I get teleported a little backward. It’s usually found in platformers, but in top-down it happens too. At first, this bug wasn’t a big deal, and when I played with my friends, it was like a challenge. But as I moved more and more, it became a persistent problem and it has become more frequent. Also, it has become an annoying thing and it causes me to kind of rage. Like, for example: In a platformer, you’re at the last jump. Out of the blue, you teleport where there is a gap and fall. Is it just me? Or is it just a bug because Creative is still in its beta versions?

This is a known bug. It happens to me in lots of games, and it is a very common glitch.

Yea, its normal, it even happens to me

Is there a way to get rid of it? Usually I just refresh and make a new game, but it doesn’t work. :frowning:

You probably have more than one tab open.
Nothing complicated.

Not really. If your computer is “busy” then it might increase lag, but it can also happen with one tab or maybe even with a nice computer. The more players in the game, presumably the more lag.

It happens to me when i just have gimkit opened though

Wait, so it is consistently happening? Like, not just once or twice?
Well, normally this problem arises when you have lag, or low connection. Check to see if you have any of those problems. Honestly, there really isn’t a fix  but better connection and a faster computer might help it a little.
Good luck fixing this problem!

Lag is poorly handled by Gimkit - they handle lag server-side, not client-side, meaning even if you moved in a direction, that might not register with the server, but the server determines your player’s location, which is the cause of the teleportation.
Unfortunately this is probably intentional, meaning it’s unlikely to be fixed soon.

Genuinely, it might be your lag, but there are other factors, like for example, triggers activating for no reason causing some sort of jump.
