me, also actually being chinese, also call them mandarins whilst neglecting the fact that there is a noticeable difference between a mandarin orange and a regular, stereotypical orange

sometimes i also call them tangerines

mandarins are smaller than orangles

also mandarin chinese isn’t the same as chinese
