Chill. This cannot be changed unless they make a custom animation script/spritesheet for the gim.

Josh acknowledged this issue in the discord a while ago. He asked in the discord if we thought 8bit should skill be released, since it would have curvey legs. An overwhelming majority said it was fine, so blame us haha.
This is intentional, there isn’t anything that is going to be done about it.

They are not, in fact, lazy. Gimkit uses a rigging system to make their gims, meaning that pixel-y animations like you’re describing are near impossible to create. 8bit was designed before they switched to a rig system, so it originally actually was pixelated. However, after the switch from spritesheets, they couldn’t transfer the pixely animations.

I really wish the animation was only one frame like the OG games

the gimbits are also slightly bigger than the normal gim, but its fine, i really like the old game look. makes it look like the gims are playing aa game about gims (we are contorlling gims controlling gims)
