I was wondering if I could make Splat-zones from Splatoon 3 in GKC.[1] No, not literally make the whole game mode with the same mechanics. But this is how I want it: First of all, there are 2 teams (Yellow and Purple) if someone from team purple is in the zone, the timer will go down for that team but if another person from the yellow team comes over to the zone while the purple teammate is there, the timer pauses fro the purple team. There should be 2 game overlays with the seconds left for the team. (same thing for the yellow team if the yellow team is only in the zone)
Would this be possible? If not, could you suggest an alternative way to achieve something similar? Also, if you’re able to, could you include pictures? I learn best visually. Otherwise, my brain can’t function properly. If you can’t include pictures then could you explain it in great detail? Thanks
Well I haven’t played hot zones in brawl stars but I can break it down for ya. Also read the topic carefully.
In Splat Zones, the game starts with a neutral area called the zone. Both teams need to cover the zone with their ink to take control. Once a team takes control of the zone, a timer starts counting down from 100 seconds. The timer moves based on how much of the zone is covered by your team’s ink. If the other team covers part of the zone with their ink, your timer will slow down or stop until your team retakes control.
To win, you need to keep the zone covered with your ink while stopping the other team from taking it back. If the enemy takes control, their timer starts, and your timer resets. Your goal is to hold the zone for as long as possible while defending it from the other team.
I made a guide on this but , you would have to modify a few things to get it to your liking.
Now I think about Hot zone(From Brawlstars) and splat zones(from Splattoon) are a bit different.
The only reason i put splat zones in the title was because someone told me to.
So, you can make two properties, X and Y, for the zone, entering transmit A while exit transmit B, when A is transmitted, two triggers receive it, one of them only receive team 1, the other 2, the team 2 transmits C that adds 1 to Y, team 1 adds 1 to X, and the X connects to a trigger loop/repeater to decrease counter if the Y is bigger than 0 (i assume you already have a countdown) when B is sent, it also goes through two triggers with different teams, team 2 decrease 1 from Y, team 1 decrease 1 from X
Basically yeah. You have to claim it by get a majority of the zone covered in your ink. Basically if Barry’s attacks covered most of the hot zone then the score starts going up.
(Did that help?)
