i have simple tips that could change the game
Uhhh is this supposed to be a guide? Change the catagory to Community Made Guides, as it could get extremely confusing.
And this guide seems pretty quick, contains no pictures, and pretty straight-forward, but I get that you’re new here. [1]

Hello! Guides go in the Guides category, not here…
Since there are no more tl4s, please mark ST4RS_IN-A_JAR as the solution to close this… Thank you.
Hello there, and welcome to the forums! My name is @NagiSeishiro . I really hope you enjoy your time here, and to help you out while you’re here, I have a few things for you!
Rules and Official Links
Read the following links thoroughly:
Trust Levels
TL1: (“Basic”)This is most likely your current trust level! You have a brand new account, limited likes, and limited replies.
TL2: (“Members”)This is the trust level I’m currently in. This trust level makes up the majority of the forums. Its the average trust level, with unlimited replies, more available likes, and has the ability to post images.
TL3: Also known as the “Regulars”, they can make their own topics wikis, which allows for unlimited editing. They have unlimited replies, more likes available then the TL2’s, and have stronger flags.
TL4: (“Moderator”) Has the most power compared to the rest of the trust levels, and are able to wiki-fy others posts, can close or open posts, obviously unlimited replies, has the most available likes out of the trust levels, and more.
Categories
Ask for help from other forumers on things such as devices, code problems, and more. Make sure to explain your problem clearly, as it helps us figure out what is wrong.
Make your own helpful guides here! Mainly post guides on cool systems and device use. Make sure to always search to see if someone had made the guide before you.
Ask for thumbnails for games, or post guides regarding text, barrier, and custom shape art that will help players make their game look nice. Again, search to see if someone has made the same guide before you.
This category is pretty much all things about devices, but (from what I’ve seen) is commonly used for advanced research topics.
Updates is the category where you will find new posts from the Gimkit Team announcing new updates, including what they will contain.
These are community hosted events that are used to focus and reward the cool things we have done using Gimkit!
Important Notes
-
ALWAYS search before you post. You might make a useless help topic that already has the answer. This will cause clutter, which we don’t want.
-
NEVER use AI and call it your own work. Use that beautiful brain of yours and come up with something original, especially for “I need lore pls” topics.
-
BE RESPECTFUL. We are all human, and we all make mistakes. Instead of calling someone out rudely for something they’ve done wrong, correct them politely and encouragingly.
-
STAY ON-TOPIC. This is the #1 thing new users don’t do. Always try to make your replies relate to the current topic. And if you notice yourself and someone else starting to go off-topic, politely say that “Oh, we should probably get back on-topic” or “Getting a little off-topic here, let’s stop.”
-
USE THE LIKE BUTTON. Some people post useless replies like “Good job” or “Looks good.” Yes, these are encouraging and kind, but on most occasions, are not needed or add clutter. Remember to always try to use the like buttons, it’s there for you!
-
NO ACTIVE CODES. Please don’t post any active game codes, as it’s not allowed here on the forums. Instead post them on the Gimkit Wix: Gimkit Wix/Code Sharing
“Don’t worry if you mess up or make a mistake here! Everyone has accidentally broken a rule, so it’s OKAY!! Just learn from it, and move on.”

So, there you have it, almost all the basics I could cover. Again, I really hope you enjoy your time on these forums, and that you are able to become a valued member of Gimkit Creative! Take these tips and use them for the better of this site.
– @NagiSeishiro (Thanks to Blackjack for inspiring me to do this beginners list. Check his BIO for the OG list.)
(If you have ANY QUESTIONS, ask me, I’ll try my best to help.)
yeah, I understand, its just even after new users read just the links, it usually isn’t enough, am I right? I added all the basics so that they don’t make the mistakes they usually do, even after reading only the rules.
just to confirm, are you over the age of 13? It’s stated that you need to be over 13 years old to have an account here. Be honest, as the COPPA (Child Online Privacy Protection Act) prohibits websites from collecting personal info of people under 13 without parental consent.
I thought it got changed to 10?
Okay, I might be wrong though.
ah thank you for releasing this info to our (only thanks to Jeff) moderator! :D
it did? Well, laws say its 13 and I’m going with the law
what happened to pharlain? Did she quit or smth?
I’m not assuming. I know that under 18 is a kid, its just he talks like a younger person so I was just making sure. COPPA states that if a website has reasonable knowledge that an individual is under 13 (behavior, pictures, etc.) then the website must comply with COPPA.
It’s thirteen. Always been, most likely always will.
Now, would y’all stop assuming that he’s underage (cause technically anyone under 18 is minor or a “kid”) and enough with the posting? It’s already been flagged, I see no more reason to reply.
You definitely do not need to post the whole rules of the forums here, anyone with enough sense and time know how to read the rules.if you’ve forgotten, that’s one of the first user onboarding tips when you first joined,to read the rules.just the links are enough.
As to the (now flagged) guide itself, I think connecting wires is way to simple to be a guide on its own.Plus, one learns that in the tutorial,if you did it.
Alr mb, I wasn’t specifically pointing at you but no biggie ![]()
