so everything else is fine but the overlay
it defaults each time a skill check is broadcasted true with the “once” prop
and doesn’t show the yellow and white squares
the overlay channel just updates the game overlay with the blocks down below
but blinks in and out
if more details are needed please ask
Hiya Blackfox nice to see you again ;D
im kinda confused what exactly you are trying to accomplish
dandy’s world
stuff
im making the machines first
with the randomized skill check locations
and chances (chances im done locations im having problems with cuz it wont stay)
I’m handling the keybind system integration later
also just here for game help
not back back
oh wow .-.
uh
i mean ill try to solve this but idk how good ill do cause I’m not very good with block code >:P
so how many different possible combinations are there on each skill check?
the skill check can be in letters 3 to 22 but the skill check line itself starts at 25 and goes to 1*
I was planning for adjustable size but figured it would be more of a pain to figure out
for the adjustable size couldn’t you just increase the size of the skill check bar by a little depending on what machine it is?
ex: final machine of the floor would be the smallest area to get the line inside
oh no that’s not what I mean I mean like for different classes it can be auto adjusted
depending on a number prop
so I’m trying to find a way to put it all in one block but it might not be the way to go…
but with the way I’m doing it it’s going to be problematic but I just had an idea but it includes more properties and text blocks but lets debug the animation first which is the overlay
ex:
1=3 reg square check
2=4 square check
3=5 square check
also I’m not focusing on scope because trying to configure independent machine mechanics would be even more of a pain because of all the triggers and memory it would consume
you could try that
if that doesnt work just respond back and we’ll try to figure it out
In some of your text operations, the code is cut off from the screen. Could you take another picture to add them?
sure but tomorrow I’m bout to go back home
also I changed the blocks up a bit it works better
but doesn’t work fully (now I cant get the fixed point to stay fixed and it just does whatever at this point ;~; it has a mind of it’s own)
burmp :3
also I’m gonna start from scratch on the skill check
cuz I’m gonna find another way to the skill check but I need examples of
skill check mechanics like landing it on the marker or hit the button before it dissapears type stuff
