Sentry Range Bug (I think?)

I am trying to make the sentry range smaller by changing the size, but it doesn’t change anything. Is it a bug or does the size button do something else?

Well I think there’s a min and max to the sentry range, I wouldn’t really know but that’s usually the case

yeah thats the range, you cant size up sentries sadly

you should suggest that in gimkit.nolt.io

it really is useful tho to make a freindly sentry, just set the range to 0

but yeah thats it, may want to mark a solution, @B1NARYC0DE

I would, but I’m using my school computer so I can’t access any of those 2 things…

This can be explained. Sentries shoot at you, no matter if you are behind something or not. But sometimes their range makes them seem like they’re hacking, in your case. This happens because of a thing I discovered, recently, called touch extension. Whenever you touch something that also touches the sentry (ex. the ground), the range is extended by a bit. I don’t know how much yet. But if this doesn’t explain it for you, maybe it was only me.

Wait, but if the ground counts, what’s the point of having sentry range at all?

Right now all I know is that it’s impossible for me (and possibly others) to have a sentry with 0 range. I can only make it friendly to 1 team.
