What is the focus theme of the rpg map?
Like adventure, medieval, snowy forest etc etc

Oh, so you haven’t made anything? The kingdom should probably have the stone walls, and be sure to add lots of props!

And if you add a docks, you can have dark blue water with cracked planks as the dock terrain.

wat is a good terrain for like roads?
i was thinking like maybe i dunno, mud and stone briks?

Kinda what @King_Thunder_Alt1 said, let’s walk through a good kingdom map:

  • Be sure to have stone walls, kinda to give the kingdom good feel
  • If you add docks (What he said) I would recommend making it in front of the Castle Gateway.
  • Adding roads like the Terrian, in my opinion, it wouldn’t quite fit the map as good
  • To replace roads, if there is any red terrian, then I would add that.
  • Lastly, make the Kingdom BIG. Try to call attention.

That’s all I have! Hope this was helpful! :yum:

could you clarify?

You could use light stone as a floor for a large central market at the middle of the kingdom.

oooooh good idea!

Scratch that, put it at the base of the mountain so the Player can buy supplies.

Ya, that’s kinda what I meant, but I said…

Dunno if there is

You don’t want grass as the background?

That’s what I’m thinking :joy:

I think snowy grass should stay as the background, it fits the theme well.

Here’s my take:

  • I would say try your hand at some 3D terrain with snowy grass and mud, using grass as the background
  • For more unused and smaller roads, try using dirt.
  • Town squares could use snowy grass cobble.
  • Try using dark stone and light stone for the castle as 3D terrain. Castle tile would also look nice as the floor
  • If you need any rocky terrain areas, try using space rock.
  • Blue or regular water would both look fine with the pallet, so use the one you like the most
  • if you’d like, try adding bits of snow around (terrain and prop) to fit the theme
