I don’t get what memory is. I know on GIMKIT certain devices are certain amounts of memory.
Memory is how much devices, props, etc is being taken up in a map.
It has to be used wisely, because when the memory percentage hits 100%, you can’t add any more.
its kinda hard to explain but it’s basically a limit to how much stuff you can put into one map
The limit of memory is 100,000 or 10k. If you get to 100% memory, you can’t add any more devices, props, etc. Sorry if this is kinda off topic…
like in your mind, a computer has memory too
a computer can only remember so many things, so when you add something, it increases the stuff a computer got to memorize.
If it hi 100%, the computer wont be able to remember anything else, so u cant add anything into the map
Memory in a gimkit map is for example, like a storage space on your device, just like storage space on your device, memory in gimkit is limited, the less memory you have, the more you can put in your map, the more memory you have, the less devices, terrain and props that you can put in your map. When it hits 100% memory you can’t add anything else into your map. (Correct me if i’m wrong.)
To keep it simple, use the least amount of memory you can. More memory= Not good. It’s the device and code space you’re given for a map and you do not want to fill it up before you can finish your map. You can check the amount of memory you have in Editing Settings from the settings icon on the bottom left.
If there are to many things your memory will up until you can’t build anymore
Just fyi all devices, props, and terrain have a limit
Example) Game Overlay 32 limit
