For some reason when I publish a map, it says published but then doesn’t pop up when I search it up. It also says 0 plays and just won’t appear on community.
It might not popup because only some of the more popular ones will only. IDK why but that is how it works. Also, did you check recently posted? If you posted it a few minutes ago, it might show up there. Otherwise, maybe try republishing it.
I did but it is not in recently published and republishing isn’t working either.
Maybe add pictures so I can see
I’ve had this issue before. Try asking a friend to see if it’s on recently published for them. If it is, then just a bug on your end. It will sync eventually.
Mark solution once you’ve got your answer please. Thanks! (Probably not me though 'cause mine wasn’t really the solution
I’ll try if those solutions work later. I got to go for now.
Welcome to forums though
Once my friend had that problem, we think it was just because Recently Published was a bit overcrowded and there wasn’t room for it. If it doesn’t sync up later then I think you’ll have to republish it Welcome to the forums, @Terrain !
Get the link of the map
This used to happen to me, and I think sometimes it was what was in my title(still not confirmed).
But it never gets plays, and even if I put a keyword in it the title that no other map has,
it still doesn’t pop up when I search it.
Does it follow the community posting guidlines?
are you searching its title? if you are, gimkit discovery has its search based on description, not the title. search part of the description and you should find it
Copy and paste the public link of you map. If it doesn’t work, search the whole description of the map
If you can’t think of anything else to try, email hello@gimkit.com with your issue. They might have a solution.
oh I did not know that I will try
Try copying the publish link, going to it, and then look for it in your “Recently Played”
Gimkit filters out words which disable the map from showing such as cuss words,
experiment with removing words or replacing them until your map shows up again,
sorry if this isn’t the case
