Problem with Time

I’m making a pvp map where your are scored by how long you survive (in seconds). However, when I start the game, it only keeps track of the game host’s time. And yes, I am playing on different computers. I can answer any questions about wires, blocks, or settings with screenshots. Sorry for the lack of information!

I feel like a total noob! :grimacing:

Make sure the scopes are set to player and there’s a relay showing the overlay for everyone.

I was just about to answer as well. How are you so quick???

Scopes are a setting inside of the devices. The scope can be player, global, or host.

Like in the settings of the devices, make sure everything is scoped to player so it all works out. Scopes mean who the device is tailored for. Like global means everyone will see the same number and player means it’ll be personalized and accurate in this case.

Practice, rather regrettably. And a strangely fast wpm.

I tried it, didn’t work

Could be a problem with the map options for scoring, or the property thing (didn’t know what to call it) There’s another property for # of players, and it only affects that, too

Uh, can you show the property settings for time survived? Is it player scoped? Is the overlay player scoped if there is one?

And no overlay

I saw that you made a second topic for this since the solutions presented here didn’t work, so I unmarked the solution (it was on my post so I didn’t feel like that was taking anything away from someone else) and stopped the close timer. Feel free to continue to use this topic for your question and just remember you can unmark solutions instead of making duplicate topics.
