New releases is random maps that were just published.
Trending is basically slop that is popular and gaining plays for some reason.

Im pretty sure it takes about 5 hours for a game to be on new releases,
This is so that people don’t make free builds.
Edit - there isn’t exactly a play requirement to get on trending, its just what maps are getting the most plays at that time.
For example if someone gets 10,000 plays and then next week someone else gets 5,000 plays the new game will be on trending

Wait for 3 hours bud. The reason why it takes so long because that Josh wants to make every game fair and a chance to stay there for a long time so people have a chance to see it and play it. Hope that helps…

It has to be between 800 and 1,000 to be on trending but it can be possible for 700 plays but unlikely.

Stop dangling solution over people’s head. There is no definite number to get on trending, it just happens.
Also @RiFF_NickZ it doesn’t take a few hours because of fairness, its so people don’t put a game code in the thumbnail.

It takes 3 hours, I counted and kept tracked over a year ago… :\
I have 300 plays, so will i go on trending
Im not saying that it doesn’t take 3 hours, Im saying that its not because of fairness of games, (does Josh even care about that? Lets be honest, trending spots just go to people that buy the season ticket). Its because back then people put an image of a game code inside the thumbnail so people could join said game. So the delay was added because servers close after about 2 hours of playing.
