heyy, I just want to know whether or not it’s possible to allow players in the game to press a button that immediately makes the entire lobby go into teams of per say 2,3,4, etc. as compared to the default to my map which is 1 player per team. and I want to potentially incorporate this into the lobby when waiting to start the game, so some one could press a button that makes the game mode duos instead of solos and so on
Make a checkpoint in front of an in-game respawn.
Add a counter with a max of 2.
Add a team switcher.
Wire the checkpoint to the counter.
“When checkpoint reached” and “increment counter”
When two people get there, grab a teleporter, and wire it to the counter.
“When target value reached” and “Teleport here”
When you teleport to the area, add the team switcher and make it switch when you hit a zone.
To prevent others from reaching, add a barrier.
Wire it to the counter
“When target value reached” and “Activate barrier”
Then duplicate the whole area.
You could just go to Map Options, and customize the teams from there. That saves a lot of memory.
yeah but if I make it accessible to the public, how will they
Even in map options, everything you put will be non-customize-able from the public, but it will still apply for them. Except Questionaires
The Team → Map Option Settings should look like this:
If you want, there are Map Options that allow you to make the teams split into size. You could also add buttons that wire to specific team switchers, and have players press the buttons.
I just said that bro…
Sorry, I was just trying to summarize.
were all friends here, try not to be at each others throats
