(PICTURES) The Scary way to chat!

Hello Forumers! Welcome to a NEW Scary Guide! (Yay!)

In this guide, I will be making a more updated guide of the following:

Text Entry System

scary....

WHAT THE HECK? Who are you?

you!

uh no… your creepy. I’m a friend

Nah. Stop denying it....

ANYWAYS
Let’s begin!
You will need:

  • Popups
  • Channels
  • Notifications
  • Game Overlays

Step 1:

Get out 3 Game overlays. (4th is optional)

Copy the settings above. Repeat this 2 other times, but change the channel name, and label name, for each one. (The button position as well)

I used the following: Responses, Warnings, and Greetings.

Step 2:

Get out 3 popups (you will need more, but three for now.)

Here is my settings of one popup. It’s receiving on the channel that has the button name of it. (For this, It’s responses.)

Step 3:

Go to the “Call to action” section of each popup.

Make the First call to action your chat, and the second one “more”. Always make the second one “more”, (unless not needed) this is useful to add more popups and chats.

The channel responds to this to lead to a notification, or another popup.

scary!!

gee, what do you want?!

your forgetting something important!

What?

Uh...the other popups?

I was getting ready to explain that!

Oh.

ANYWAY

Step 4:

Get out as many notifications as you need!

When it recieves from that channel, the chat would pop up on the screen! That’s how to get one chat.

Step 5:

To get more chats, get another popup, add everything the same, but change the channel and response.

What is it gonna look like?

That’s all!

Wow! That should be pretty useful to some people.

I hope so!

Feel free to ask further questions or tell me what I can do to improve!

Happy gimkiting, and happy new year! Can’t wait to see how it does!

Welcome back [1] scary friend!

 Classic humor right there!

Good job including pictures, explanations, and easy-to-read steps!
One thing I would recommend on the formatting is to put each step in dropdowns like shown:

Dropdown

You can do this by hitting that gear on the top right of the post and selecting “Hide Details”

It’ll make the guide look way shorter but easier to read.

You can also separate paragraphs by using:

Which you can do by adding ___

I’ll definetly use this and, one last thing, good job for adding links to other guides (it can be helpful).

Have a great 2026! [2]

  1. if i remember correctly you were gone for a while ↩︎

  2. natural instinct almost made me put 2025 lol ↩︎

ALRIGHT FIRST THINGS FIRST

Welcome back scary [1][2]

Not a Dropdown

Ah yes peak cinema

SECOND THINGS SECOND

RATING!!!

Creativity (6/10)

It’s a repost. Simple as that. Not very creative, but good all the same

Grammar (10/10)

Couldn’t find anything, but my eyes also kinda suck.

Organization (5/10)

This is a 5 because you used other ways to make it look good, but try using some of these:

DROPDOWNS:

Dropdown
[details="Dropdown title"]
Hidden text
[/details]

FOOTNOTES:
[3]

DIFFICULTY POLLS:[4]

[poll type=regular results=always public=true chartType=bar]
* option one
* option two
[/poll]
or just click gear then insert poll and do it from there

Explanation (0/10)

Doesn’t exist, sorry, you should probably add one.

OVERALL RATING: (5.25/10)

  1. hehe im still gonna call you that ↩︎

  2. now i wont have to submit your thumbnails for you ↩︎

  3. ^[text here] ↩︎

  4. and guide rating polls, they help with users knowing the difficulty and you can know how good of a job you did ↩︎

were you tryna ping there?

I deleted it if it was causing issue, apologies.

No 'tis wasn’t causing issues, it just didn’t work as a ping – drop-down titles can’t have pings in them for some reason.

Yeah I was too lazy to edit them for the pictures cuz I have little time now… thanks for updating them

Also just fyi if you link a guide maybe don’t ping the person, they already get a notification for the guide being linked, and some don’t like to be bothered . I’m not one of them but some people get upset.

Ok, noted. I copied and pasted the links from another guide in which had the users pinged

Hello @Bridget_C0 welcome to the furom sorry if I’m a bit late lol

I feel like this might be a good time to state this because I am reading this and while I love it when the forum actually interacts with one another it is also that if you have nothing really to contribute to the topic please just hit that like button ( I just felt like I was YouTuber..) Seriously though the like button will suffice
