why are these new devices classified as “new” especially the checker. ist helpful but not new.

They were most likely added quite recently, that could be why.

Ig they are there because before they were probably still testing them and now they are official. That’s my theory.
Wasn’t the checker given an update in the last update? So it could compare properties?

There was a bug and devices were likely mislabeled as “NEW!”
There are only two devices in the new update:
