Also um… Im not 100% sure but that image looks like a medieval town…
Correct me if Im wrong but… I don’t think they had schools, museums, arcades, malls, etc back them.

maybe a wandering trader (if possible) or a traveler who always mysteriously shows up at the right time.

Villages have carriges, so maybe add one of those? It can take you to different places outside of the village for a price (maybe?). For example, if you want to travel to the forest outside of the village, the carrige will take you there

How about a forest full of monsters to oof?
I do that a lot. it is quite fun.
Maybe a Grim Reaper coming after you to ambush you during nighttime (if you’re out of your home and not sleeping)
