is it platformer or top-down?
Top down
I have ideas from some books i read, but in the intrest of the moderators i wont share them.
what is the game about?
So i’m in this thing, our host gave us a theme to make a map from, and i got alternate reality
maybe make a space adventure game
The only thing i have for the map is that it’s gonna be in a sciency place and multiple other realities
maybe the player is trying to escape a monter that eats dimentions and you have to escape it by going through portals that bring you to different dimentions (metal_sonic-1’s idea)
Oh, tell him that it’s a great idea!
alright i will
Okay, chill… This is basically some modified Zelda link between worlds stuff.
Once long ago, there were two realms, a dark realm, and a light realm. They lived peacefully for about 1000 yrs., then a man crossed to the light realm to steal a relic of mythical power, as their equivalent had been destroyed. Without it, the dark realm was crumbling. Later, this same man forces our protagonist (named Definitely Not Link) to the dark realm and he is saved by a dark haired lady. Definitely Not Link beats up some bosses and learns that the lady was behind it all along. He saves his realm and the dark realm by using the power of his realms sacred relic.
Can this help? Or i this not what you’re looking for?
I have started the game, any ideas for the map design?
for the first dimention it can be plant infested
Ok nice, what’s gonna be happening (or where) before going in the first dimension?
What’s a good name for a science group that is related to interdimentional travel?
Well we could be silly and say Interdimentional Travel Dorks
Weeee could be silly but… the fate of me winning this thing is in hands
I’ll work on the lobby for now
umm… Gims Between Dimensions, or Spydecraft’s interdimentional journey
