What about traps behind the doors that you have to deactivate before you walk through?

if it’s like “ready or not” then you could add the damage thing to whatever prop you’re using and in games like that you could kick down doors over multiple tries so you could add something similar to that too. I will look for guides on this for you or you could also look for yourself.
