Name/Lore Ideas for a rogue-like?

This is my idea!

Name: Dont get hit!

Lore

A battle to be fought. You rest peacefully in your bed, located in a prison inside of a pyramid. You think, “Why…why me…” The master enters the room. “Ready?” asks the master. “No,” you say. “You don’t have a choice. Let’s go.” The master pulls you by the ear and takes you to the area in which you will be fighting. “Well, meet your opponent. Ready?” he repeats. “No!” you say again. “Start the match!” The master yells. The pillars of the pyramid start to shake, you cant help but hide from your opponent, who is much, much stronger than you. You hear him coming. Then, you are in your bed again. Wha… you think. It was a dream, I suppose? “Ready?” The master asks. You are stunned. “Yes, but you have already asked me this?” You reply. “Mhm, yes. That means you lost the game. Time goes back until you win. I don’t remember asking you yet, and I knew you would fail the first time.” he says. “Oh, so I can just lose and you won’t remember? Awesome! This can give me ideas on how to beat him!” you are overjoyed. As you expected, you lost again. And it was true. You were in your bed again. “This is it,” you say. I’m going to be a champion.

Make a zone that represents the biome you’re in. Like for a desert, you can put a slow speed and cacti that you lose health in.

I thought you said DLD, so when you said all this, I was :expressionless: :face_with_raised_eyebrow: until I realized you said DND. :rofl:

Btw, an oasis with water that generates health? Secret caverns as ruins? Treasure hunting and fighting spirits in pyramids?

man DLD would be so much better if you could shove 3 pounds of dirt down someones throat XD
but sadly all we can do is jump jump jump not shove dirt shove dirt shove dirt

maybe for a name phantom abyss like you enter a virtual abyss only to find it full of glitches try try try again until you can claim victory

For the randomly generated runs, make like 3 or so versions of each room and make it so that when the play moves to the next level/room, they get teleported to a random one by making them teleport to all of the rooms at once? (have all the teleporters on the same channel and force the game to pick where you end up.)
Don’t know if I’d work, but it’s and idea.

ill make sure to read all of these at school, i cant right now as, on my desktop the text and background are white for some odd reason. anyways uh have a nice thanksgiving :D

For the randomly generated rooms you could have teleporters with groups. At the end you go “through the door” and out the other side. You couldn’t go backwards, but ehh. It would be random, and you could make it so that from the room, you can only go to those rooms, blah blah blah, I’m gonna stop before I start ranting, you get the point.

well fleet did create the thing where your friend will go through the teleporter and end up in same room as you, wouldnt it work exactly the same for going backwards?

Not the way I created it. You might want to ask fleet how they did their system.

i have a guide on my system lol. it was made to help them.
