My game won't show up on discovery

Yes, I know ANOTHER one of these posts but this time I’m serious. I’ve done everything in my power that I can. Go into the search and it’s not there. I’ve even looked for it on another device and it’s not there. There is nothing wrong with my game and I hope I get help soon

I say post some initials along with your game. I think it might be hidden because there are other games that have the same name?

Huh. You’re right, it doesn’t say anything, not even your game. Maybe just take Temsa’s suggestion and wait it out. Or double check if you actually published it. Or still try adding initials and search them up.

How long ago did you publish it?

About 20-30 minutes ago. I just unpublished it and I’ll wait a little bit to get some more gimbucks to re-publish it

If you do, try adding initials, it worked for me and I think another user a long time ago found their game with initials.

The word gim might be why+discovery only shows the map with the highest plays

3. Look it up by something in the description or just make sure everything in the cover, description and name are appropiate

Try putting something in quotations on the description. The search for whatever was in quotations. Try that.

Iirc there’s an update to discovery that delays map publishing to prevent code sharing and whatnot by a couple hours. Try waiting a couple hours and then see if it’s there or not.

What I’m saying is that the discovery search engine is very buggy.

I’m not sure what the explanation for that is, I had a similar problem with one of my maps, but in gimtendo’s case they only waited 20 minutes.

We have a few systems in place to prevent malicious behavior in Creative Discovery.

The most common reason a Map doesn’t show up after publishing is because the name and/or description has a word or words on our blocked words list.

Also, we now delay Maps showing up in Discovery after they’re published. We do this to prevent specific malicious and potentially harmful behaviors we were seeing, including live game sharing.

We won’t be disclosing how long published Maps take to show up, but in general, if you publish a Map that complies with our community guidelines, it will be live in Discovery. You just need to be a little patient.

Also, Team Gimkit can remove any game from discovery if they feel like it breaks a publishing guideline the system can’t automatically check for.

If it doesn’t published it can mean it is getting checked by gimkit which takes a while and if it doesn’t I could mean that it broke a rule.By Creator_real
