Movement meter issue

So I am trying to do a red light/green light minigame in my map. (You have a movement meter that activates on red light and if you move and get rid of the item, you fail). But this movement meter works only for the game host and no one else. I have no idea why.

Hmm, maybe try switching everyone to team 2, test and see what happens.

Nope, still only works for the game host. All of my code seems to be correct, too.

Yeah, this is a bit confusing…

Try playing with the host as the spectator. This will only allow the players who have joined to play.

Ok so here is what I have found out: I have a system to count the amount of players that are in the game for a future project on my map, and when the host is a spectator, it just doesn’t work. Although, the movement meter did in fact work.

Ok, so making the host spectator works, but it ruins a different project?

Yeah, the counting of players in the game gets really wonky.

Ohh ok. Will this completely mess up your game, or can you make an alternative to help prevent it from being “wonky”?(lol I like that word)

I also found out if the host is a spectator, if more than one person is in the game, the entirety of red light/green light breaks down too! So I have a lot to somehow figure out.

Aww man I’m so sorry.

Maybe try to double check your code.

Oh wait! Just send me a screenshot of it. (I’m definitely not a veteran of code, but I’ll try my best. It’s never been my strong-suit, I’m an artsy-type dude lol)

I don’t know if sending a screenshot will quite help… it is a lot of stuff for such a seemingly simple project..

Sounds good.

It might be good to not send it lol, my brain might explode…

Again, I’m sorry it kinda messed up ur game…

I’m out of ideas, hopefully someone else will be able to help.

I am kind of glad you showed me that, as I add WAY too many failsafes in my games, so I guess this helped me find a few more issues.. I think my best bet is to just restart the project from scatch

Oh bro Im so sorry, i didnt know you would have to restart :sob:

No it’s just the fact that I am now confused in my own code, and I am out of ideas on what I could fix. It probably is a Gimkit problem and not mine lol

Ok, do you need anymore help or nah?

Nah I think I am good

Ok, just mark a solution on whichever post helped the most! Have good day.

I am marking your idea of switching to spectator, as it was what made me find out all of the goofy stuff

Btw the player counting suddenly started working, so that’s a plus!
