Minor selection bug

Left clicking, then right clicking, then left clicking the URL bar or a system element causes Gimkit to think you are still holding down left click.

When left clicking again afterwards, the issue goes away. I just wanted to bring awareness to this issue, but it can be a minor annoyance sometimes.

Since the issue still exists whenever you click outside of the Gimkit Window, I would like to keep this open until Team Gimkit resolves this issue.

The issue only returns when right clicking then clicking the outside of the URL bar again.

Try selecting and then unselecting left click.

Um… okay? Then you should probably mark a solution.

I remember this bug when I used to play knockback, people would use this to spam the pixelator and completely destroy everyone else

detailed explanation (my thoughts)
  1. press and hold left click
  2. continue holding left click while you press right click
  3. move your mouse to the top of the screen
  4. release

This causes a bug because gimkit doesn’t know that you released the mouse (because your mouse isn’t in the gimkit window)

I think this can be fixed by pressing left/right click (I think, it’s been a long time since I tried this)

Im not 100% sure but I think when your cursor goes off of the screen (like when it goes on the tabs like in the video) the game doesn’t like sense the cursor so it just keeps on going. This bug isn’t just for Gimkit. It can apply to many other websites or games

This bug has existed since Gimkit creative was released. It probably won’t get fixed anytime soon because it’s a minor issue, and it’s a constraint of web browsers. If you want to get rid of it, play in fullscreen, or just don’t click on the address bar.

I get that this has been mostly explained in the topic before, but I want to mention that this bug isn’t really an issue on Gimkit’s part, rather more of an issue with just the way browsers work; Gimkit doesn’t sense that you have lifted the left click, since the action wasn’t done in the window.
I’m not sure there’s anything that the team can really do about this — it’s a bug that can happen in pretty much any website, as far as I can tell.
