Maze Power-up Ideas

First of all, thank you to the community for being so welcoming!
Second, I am making a top down maze and I was wondering if you had any ideas for power-ups that you can collect if you go the wrong way? I have the ‘WayPoint’ right now, which will activate a waypoint to the next check-point/teleporter.

so I heard you looking for ideas how about add like a raidr that can detect items far away for like two seconds use a trigger for that

Briefly highlight the path to the “exit” of the maze, a beeping type thing that beeps every 10 seconds.

Im just asking this but doesn’t this waypoint already alert this?

You can add hidden teleporters through the maze that teleports the player in random places inside the maze, or hidden teleporters to help the player get closer to the end of the maze.

(Don’t add too many teleporters or it’ll make the game unplayable and possibly frustrating.)

@Froyo oh yeah for that get a game overlay make it a button type make the words say track items wire the game overlay to trigger “button pressed trigger” then wire the button to waypoint button pressed activate way point then do “trigger deactivated deactive waypoint”

What about a secret map? When an overlay is clicked, it could teleport the player to a small room with a mock of the maze.

Yes it does. I am just saying, that it is a powerup

MAKE THE MAZE CORN
or youde be able to eat corn and (if you can lose health) you get 100 health

Funny suggestion! I don’t think I will make the maze maize, but maybe having it as an edible pickup could be fun
