Hello! I need some lore for my map, OVERGROWN, a pve survival game where you are stuck on a planet that us much different from earth. They would need to fend off against a group of evil plants who harnessed an ancient power to take over the planet. Any takers?
Iâll see what I can do.
I do need a bit more context however. What kind of lore do you want? Lore into the past or lore of how the Plants obtained this âPowerâ?

Earth has been two populated and is slowly dieing so the main character is the leader on a new mission past the earth. They discover that there once had been a group of aliens here and that this is where humans originated from and they had fled from this planet to earth.

Alright.
Here we go:
The earth was shaking, Itâs core was heating up far past what should normally be stable. The scientists of the world could do nothing to stop it, so they begun construction on a machine to get far away from the Earth before it blows. Rapidly, they boarded every gim they could fit into this machine⌠Sending it blasting far off into deep space. You, dear player, are one of these select few people who have been crammed onto this machine. You, along with your fellow thousand other members, flew throughout space without a problem. Scanning the galaxy for any sign of a habitable planet that could sustain you and your crew. The search lasted for days⌠Then for weeks⌠then for monthsâŚYour food supplies are running low, and fast. You needed to find a planet to land. You didnât even care if it was habitable now, it just needed Oxygen. Until on one particular day⌠you found a planet. Overtaken by Plants⌠But habitable. You turned the ship quickly, diving towards the Planet at top speed. What you didnât expect however- Was for the atmosphere to be extremely damp. It was TOO damp. Water flooded the ship, and you had no choice but to crash land. Your members luckily survived, and so did you. But you didnât get away with no injuries.
Monster Lore:
Overtaken by Plant Monsters, it was only obvious to see that Plants were at the top of the food chain here. This planet was overrun by them. They seemed to glow with an ominous feeling to them. It made you uneasy. You walked for what felt like miles, until you stumbled upon what seemed to be a human made ship. Seems you and your crew werenât the first people here. You obviously entered. The Airlock triggered as you entered the nearly broken down ship. Files began to appear on a holographic kind of screen. You walk up to what seemed to be the main control panel, and some logs from the previous captain of this space ship pop up in front of you. These files give an in depth explanation of what these plant monsters are, and what their weaknesses are⌠But one thing catches your attention. A file titled âThe Runic Gemâ. You open it out of curiosity and are immediately horrified. It tells you of an ancient Gem that gives an immense power to the wielders of said gem, and all their allies. A video file pops up⌠itâs a clip of the Captain of this ship youâre in⌠running away from hordes upon hordes of Plant monsters. The Runic Gem within their grubby plant roots. The rest of the files are theories upon theories on how they obtained the Runic Gem⌠But one is marked as [IMPORTANT]. You open the file, as it shows the blueprints for a gigantic runic temple that was supposedly built by the previous lifeforms on this planet to protect the runic gem⌠and attached to it was a picture of that same temple now. Destroyed down to nothing but rubble and covered in massive roots and vines. Your goal is to survive, and take back this Gem to clear this planet for the rest of your colony⌠and revive the Gim Race.

Fast forward to when the future is now.
Earth is now basically a wasteland.
Even the very few people and the Gim government still roaming on that very planet dosenât even care on whatâs going on.
All expected futures were crushed and ruined.
To the inhabitants, it may be the end of the world for them . . .
. . . but not for long [STILL GONNA ADD MORE]
