I published my map 2 weeks ago, and I’ve read the rules and I am sure I followed all of them. But my friends can’t find it when they search the map in Gimkit Creative. Well, when I send the map link to my friends, they can play it. What is the problem?
P.S.: The map name is Hunger Maze

The Gimkit Discovery search isn’t the best. That’s why.
Plus, there’s probably a lot of other games that have to do with mazes, so it’ll put the ones with more plays on the screen. Try putting your username in the description so that they can search that instead. It usually works.

Discovery is a dumpster fire rn so like wingwave said put this in the title: game name (Your Name)

I am pretty sure the discovery search engine is based off of the description, instead of title. Only problem with this is that people start adding random hashtags, hoping that they will get more views, and it actually works! So if we have a very honest person without any hashtags, they might not have as much views, even if they have a better map.
(lol I pretty much summarized the entire discovery contreversy.)

For the map description, I put “An Ultimate Maze”. Still, I can’t find it.
I don’t think I can post a link in this, or I will post the link, because if you use the link it will work, that means my map follows the rules.

The Discovery search relies on an indexer that registers maps 1 at a time. it might take a while (usually a few days) for it to show up in discovery. Just keep waiting at it’ll eventually show up

Thank you. I already posted the map for a few weeks, but I will keep waiting. And I just wanna know, can we post link in Gimkit Creative Community?
P.S.: I edited the map a few sec ago, hope it will not reset the search engine.

I guess I will just wait for like a month and see if the problem solved.
It is sad if I spend time and gimbucks and no one can see my map QAQ

Sometimes when you publish a map it doesn’t publish if you have a season ticket unpublish then re-publish
