I’m not using an overlay, the overlay creates a button or text in the corners of the screen. I’m trying to make a text piece add up by one every knockout. Here’s how it looks like:
It started off as “Attempt 1”, then after I got knocked out once it turned to “Attempt 2”. However, if I get knocked out at all after that then it doesn’t update.
The text device has block code. Like the trigger, you can link it with a property through the block code. The property is the value of the text. It starts off as one. When the knocked out channel is updated it adds one to the value of that property.
YES PLEASE IM BEGGING YOU (my prayers have been answered)
the block code is not incrementing the property only updating the text using the property’s number so using a lifecycle to the counter to the property is perfection
Guys, thank you so much. I finally got it to work. Without the counter as well . Thank you so much for helping me out. So, the solution, I don’t know who to mark…
I did solve it myself, but I’ll do a wheel of names to pick you guys. Please don’t feel left out if you don’t get the solution.
Closed because it’s been a while since this was solved. By the way, you can always ask a leader to close something if there is no solution, multiple people contributed equally, or you sort of figured it out yourself.
