So sorry if my English is bad. I am using a translator so maybe the question will be too formal.
I am needing to make a system where the students all work together and pool their money into one main 「bank」they can all pull from as a team.
I am remaking Farmchain in Japanese with some small adjustments to make it feel much more natural to work as a team. Things like farmers growing foods the scientists use to turn into research, or the use of「truckers」that can make deliveries to the store and sell instead. However, I don’t want just the delivery drivers making money. I want the farmers to have a group money pool that they can take from to purchase more fields or upgrades.
Is this possible? I do not mind extrememe difficulties making it. I would rather work hard to make it more fun for my students to act as a team than for it to cause derision between them.
I think we are probably getting close to a system that will work. Right now I use a very small “ATM” to put away money for the class, but the students need to be kind and have to put away and withdraw their own money. Also, I believe the limit is 100 cash in one button press.
This might work, but if you have a better idea, please let me know!
I find it very interesting that it is all wire! I always use channels or “blocks” so this looks interesting.
How does it work in detail?
My guess is that it is connected to a vending machine and triggers a channel to raise the counter value? Then the item granter checks the property value maybe?
Sounds so much easier to type it all in that way,( ̄∇ ̄;)
Thank you so much for such a clear and excellent response! I will be able to recreate this for my students this weekend. I’m sure the students will think their teacher is a programmer when they see this new game!
Please have a great weekend and thank you for your hard work! My students will certainly thank you in the future when this game is finished.
